More than 700 organizations across 80 countries are part of the Global Partnership network. What brings us together is a shared belief that better data leads to better decisions, which leads to better lives.
The network spans governments, civil society, academia, the private sector, and multilateral organizations, all working on data for sustainable development. We ask nothing of our partners except a genuine interest in showing up, sharing what they know, and building a more inclusive and equitable data ecosystem together. Explore the organizations in the network.

Whether you are a national statistical office modernising your data systems, a development organization advocating for inclusive data, or a tech company building tools for the public good, this network is built for you. Learn more below.

A network built for people doing the work

Together, we break down barriers and silos, meet collaborators, share learnings, and advocate for data-driven policymaking. Ultimately, our goal is to work together to increase the visibility of data as the lifeblood of sustainable development.

The strength of our network is in its diversity–we believe it is critical that the Global Partnership network showcases the array of realities faced by the organizations in the data for development space, connecting global, regional, and local debates and action. We invest time and effort in building a curated, active network of partners.

To join the network, leave your details here, and we will be in touch with more information!

What becoming a partner means

We do not ask our partners for commitments or pledges, and we do not offer a traditional membership. Instead, our network is a space for:

  • Information-sharing: discovering opportunities to participate in activities and events, including peer learning groups, training programs, and fundraising proposals.
  • Understanding the trends: understanding the actors and latest research and innovation in the data for development space.
  • Connecting and collaborating: pitching ideas, finding collaborators, asking for support, and amplifying your work to a community of 700+ organizations globally.
  • Sectoral leadership: receive invitations to join the Global Partnership’s Board and Technical Advisory Group.
  • Visibility: Amplifying the reach of your work through the Global Partnership’s networks and digital channels.

Let us amplify your work

As a member of the network, you can share relevant updates from your organization through the listserv, by tagging the Global Partnership handle on LinkedIn, or by filling out this form.

We will publish your updates on this page, in the Global Partnership newsletter, and in the Global Partnership Network Pulse, which is a monthly publication on our LinkedIn channel.

The 2026 Global Data Festival and Kenya Space Expo & Conference

For the first time, the Global Data Festival came to Africa as a joint event with the Kenya Space Expo & Conference. Hosted by the Government of Kenya, alongside the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, the Kenya Space Agency, and the Global Partnership, GDF-KSEC 2026 brought together 1,500+ participants from 90+ countries at the Edge Convention Center in Nairobi from 2–5 June 2026.

The four-day program included daily plenaries on youth, AI, and the humanization of data; a joint opening and closing ceremony; a shared expo space; and sessions bridging the data and space worlds — from Earth observation for development to the governance of space data. Peer exchanges, training labs, lightning talks, and startup pitches rounded out a landmark event for both communities.

From the signing of the Safaricom-KNBS MoU on mobile phone data, to the launch of the PopIntel Hack and the Inclusive AI Innovations in Africa call for applications, GDF-KSEC 2026 produced outcomes that will shape the network's work for months to come.

Explore what came out of the Festival below — and stay connected as we continue to share stories, resources, and follow-up actions from Nairobi.
