Overview

The "Learning Exchange on Citizen Data" event serves as a pre-event to the World Data Forum 2024, focusing on the critical role of citizen data in making inclusive data the norm. This initiative is aligned with the Leave No One Behind (LNOB) agenda and seeks to elevate the participation of marginalized and underrepresented populations in data systems that inform policy and drive inclusive development.

Participants will explore how citizen-generated data (CGD) complements official statistics and creates responsive, community-centered policy impacts. The event is organized by the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data in collaboration with DANE, APC Colombia, the International Civil Society Centre, and the Collaborative on Citizen Data.
