The next three years will see a number of exciting global and regional events and activations in Latin America and the Caribbean, from Data RightsCon in Costa Rica in June 2023, Statistical Conference of the Americas in Chile in September 2023, the second Data for Development festival in Punta del Este Uruguay, and of course the next World Data Forum in Medellin, Colombia.

This meeting will provide an opportunity for those hosting or participating in other international data events to look to continue the momentum after this year’s World Data Forum, connect with the global data community and explore common themes, communities and how to maximize this momentum and design exciting social spaces.

The objective of the event is to garner more interest, engagement and excitement looking ahead to some fantastic opportunities to provide pathways to action on inclusive and timely data. The session will use live polls and brainstorm tools for a lively group discussion.
