This event will be conducted in English, French and Spanish with live interpretation
Co-hosted by the Inclusive Data Charter (IDC) and partners, this interactive webinar is open to anyone interested in advancing inclusive data and learning about how it contributes to the data for development agenda. Participants will hear perspectives from national statistics offices, civil society, and others on how IDC Champions and partners are practically advancing inclusive data through advocacy, strengthening institutional capacity, collaboration, and learning.
This timely discussion comes as we prepare for the World Data Forum in November, where the IDC network will share its progress in advancing its Commit2Data commitments.
Join the webinar and be part of the conversation on the role we can all play in ensuring that inclusive data remains integral to conversations on how we drive equity — now and into the future.
Background
Since launching in 2018, the Inclusive Data Charter has mobilized commitments from governments, civil society, and international organizations spanning across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and more. 8 years on, we have seen many impressive achievements, thanks to the commitment of our network of IDC Champions. Inclusive data has gained more prominence as being key to advancing equity and inclusion and it is increasingly seen as integral to discussions on how to harness AI and new technologies in development. In a changing development landscape, coming together to look at how we jointly continue to advance data inclusion and tackle the barriers is more important than ever.
