National statistical offices, government institutions, civil society organizations, and technical partners from across the Make Inclusive Data the Norm (MIDN) initiative will gather in Dakar for a three-day knowledge exchange hosted by Senegal's National Agency of Statistics and Demography (ANSD). MIDN is technically led by GPSDD and funded by APC Colombia, bringing together partners from Colombia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and Senegal to strengthen how inclusive data is produced, used, and governed.

Dakar builds on exchanges already held in Kenya (2024), Colombia (2024), and Ghana (2025). The program combines technical learning sessions, peer problem-solving discussions, thematic working groups, and site visits to Senegal's inclusive data initiatives, including the ANSD Data Science Lab and Training Institute.

Around 40 participants are expected, with representatives from Nigeria, the Dominican Republic, Senegal, Ghana, Colombia, and Kenya, alongside partners supporting the initiative. The goal is a set of cross-country recommendations to guide MIDN's next phase, along with stronger relationships between the institutions doing this work on the ground.
