This strategy paper sets out how the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data is approaching AI as a development challenge in its own right.
It outlines our vision for AI that advances sustainable development, the data and governance foundations needed to get there, and the three roles we play – learning convenor, solutions broker, and coalition builder – to connect political momentum, technical expertise, and local realities.
Drawing on two years of work with partners across regions, it also highlights practical entry points for governments, funders, multilaterals, and civil society to collaborate with us on responsible, inclusive AI.
