CBM Global works alongside persons with disabilities in the world’s poorest places to fight poverty and exclusion, and transform lives. Drawing on over 115 years of experience, we work with the most marginalized in society to break the cycle of poverty and disability, and build inclusive communities where everyone can enjoy their human rights and fulfill their full potential.
Priorities as a partner of the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data
We work in over 20 countries, investing in long-term, authentic partnership with the Disability Movement and maximizing our impact through a coordinated mix of inclusive community-based programs, local to global advocacy, and delivering inclusion advice to other organizations. CBM Global recognizes the critical role that inclusive data plays in building inclusive communities where all people, including persons with disabilities, can enjoy their human rights and fulfill their full potential.
CBM Global joined the Inclusive Data Charter in May 2021. Its disability inclusion works with the most marginalized in society to:
- Break the cycle of poverty and disability.
- Treat and prevent conditions that lead to disability.
- Build inclusive communities where everyone can enjoy their human rights and achieve their full potential.
