As part of the 10th Annual Multi-Stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the SDGs (STI Forum), an Action Day under the theme Advancing the Global Digital Compact (GDC) brought together leading implementers and partners to discuss the role of data governance for an innovative and equitable digital economy. 

Claire Melamed, CEO of the Global Partnership, moderated the session on Governing Data for AI: Reimagining the Global Digital Economy, discussing the role of cross-border flows, interoperability, responsible data use, privacy, and how to ensure that countries are not just data providers but also benefit from the broader digital transformation.
