The Make Inclusive Data the Norm initiative is a South-South collaboration between Colombia, Ghana, and Kenya to advance inclusive data systems that reflect the lived realities of all people, especially marginalized groups.

The Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data leads the technical work with funding from APC Colombia, in partnership with the governments of Colombia, Ghana, and Kenya through their national statistical offices. The exchange in Accra will synthesize lessons, strengthen collaboration, and chart next steps for scaling inclusive data innovation across the three countries.

The Accra peer exchange reflects on:

  • Progress on the MIDN initiative across Colombia, Ghana, and Kenya
  • Practical experiences using inclusive and citizen data for policy and governance
  • Strengthening South-South learning networks between government and civil society
  • Opportunities for sustainability, scale, and future collaboration
  • Connecting outcomes to national, regional, and global agendas, including the SDGs, Leave No One Behind, and the Global Data Festival 2026
