Global medicine has made incredible advances; however, the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted global health inequity and shown how much strengthening our current health systems need. 

Data can help us understand the causes of unnecessary death and how to prevent them. By collecting data on patients, we can learn how diseases spread, helping unlock mitigation techniques.
