Using administrative data to help inform COVID-19 response

To address the urgency of the COVID-19 pandemic, national statistics offices need to strengthen their capacity to use administrative records for statistical purposes. Administrative data can increase the production and analysis of important COVID-19 information, including data on health, education, and the economic sector.

This webinar shares examples on how collaboration and coordination between administrative data owners and national statistical offices has improved in the context of COVID-19 and/or has increased use of administrative data to help ensure more informed decision making. The event was co-convened by the UN Statistics Division and the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data.
