On May 23 an event on the importance of humanizing data for the development of the territory and how to tell stories to communicate impact takes place at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Medellin, Colombia, co-hosted by the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE) and the Global Partnership.

Through presentations and discussions, this event creates a space for dialogue on the role of national and local government, civil society, the private sector, and academia in achieving better data for decision-making.

Additionally, the event will facilitate debate on how people are represented through data, promote the data agenda for sustainable development ahead of the World Data Forum in November in Medellin, and encourage the continuous participation of stakeholders through capacity building.
