Priorities as a partner of the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data
The government of Costa Rica and the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data share the same vision: a world where the opportunities of the data revolution are available to and for all humanity, as a force for improving life for all the people, everywhere.
Costa Rica has a strong commitment to Sustainable Development and the 2030 Agenda and has made important strides to achieve this ambitious agenda. Costa Rica's participation in the Global Partnership will constitute, above all, an opportunity to grow, to learn, and to improve. Furthermore, Costa Rica will make important contributions through the experience of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Policy (MIDEPLAN, for its acronym in Spanish) and INEC, which will be in charge of enabling and supporting a national data ecosystem for sustainable development.
