The Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data is excited to welcome two new board members bringing extensive experience and expertise: Ndidi Okonkwo Nwuneli, President and CEO of ONE Campaign, and H.E Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana. 

Ndidi Okonkwo Nwuneli has over 25 years of international development experience and has been deeply involved in fostering impactful solutions in the global social innovation landscape, with a focus on Africa. Ndidi started her career at McKinsey & Company’s Chicago office and returned to Nigeria in 2000 to serve as the pioneer Executive Director of the FATE Foundation. She is the founder of LEAP Africa, a non-profit committed to developing dynamic, innovative and principled African leaders and African Food Changemakers, which provides support for African entrepreneurs to start and scale resilient and sustainable agribusinesses. She is also the co-founder of Sahel Consulting Agriculture & Nutrition Ltd. and AACE Foods Processing & Distribution Ltd.

H.E Jane Naana Opoku-Agyeman is the eighth Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, and the first woman to hold this position. Before assuming office as Vice President of Ghana, she served as Chancellor of the Women’s University in Africa in Harare, Zimbabwe, the Vice Chancellor in Ghana leading the University of Cape Coast (UCC) from 2008 to 2012, President of the Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE), and Chairperson of the Africa Board. She also served as the Minister for Education from 2013 to 2017.

The new appointments bring the Global Partnership’s Board to 16, with the Board of Directors listed in full below.
