To improve the availability and accessibility of environmental and climate data for informed decision-making by the Togolese government, the Global Partnership is leading a project to enhance awareness of environmental statistics, prepare a roadmap for the establishment of a national platform for tracking environmental indicators, and foster collaboration among government departments responsible for data collection. This is part of a broader initiative aimed at strengthening the management of environmental data in Togo, funded by the Islamic Development Bank Institute (IsDBI).

The workshop, on June 25, engages stakeholders on the state of environmental statistics in Togo, highlighting the progress made and the challenges that remain, emphasizing the need for integrated data management and collaboration, including proposed solutions and priority actions for the Environmental Information System (EIS).
