To leave no one behind in data-driven decision-making, institutional data systems need to commit to ensure that they are inclusive and disaggregated. Currently, too many people are invisible in our data systems. Data owners must advance the availability and use of inclusive and disaggregated data so that they can better understand and address the needs of marginalized people.

The Inclusive Data Charter (IDC) was collaboratively developed to drive meaningful action to advance inclusive data. This IDC webinar event was run by the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data, Sightsavers, and the Internal Displacement Monitoring Center. They were joined by the UK Office for National Statistics and the National Administrative Department of Statistics of Colombia.

At this event, IDC Champions launched a new set of resources to help institutions apply intersectional data approaches to their work. Explore the resources here.
