We’re excited to launch a new webinar series to support National Statistical Offices (NSOs) and the data community to enhance their skills, explore innovative data tools, and connect with peers and experts—empowering data-driven development and policy making.

In an era of big data, NSOs are increasingly recognizing the transformative potential of data science, machine learning, and AI to enhance the quality, efficiency, and relevance of statistical outputs. This webinar, with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, provides a platform for sharing experiences and best practices from NSOs that have successfully integrated these advanced technologies into their statistical systems.

These technologies offer innovative approaches to data collection, processing, and analysis, enabling NSOs to produce more timely, accurate, and insightful data that can drive evidence-based decision-making and policy development.

Participants will gain insights into the practical applications of these data tools in enhancing national statistics, as well as the challenges and opportunities associated with their adoption.
