The Government of Uruguay's National Institute of Statistics (INE) is responsible for preparing, supervising and coordinating national statistics.
INE’s mission is to generate and provide quality statistical information, as well as lead and coordinate the National Statistical System (SEN) in establishing technical standards and verifying compliance. INE’s vision is to be a leading institution and benchmark in Uruguay and across the region in the production, coordination and dissemination of statistics.
