Citizen-generated data (CGD) is statistics that people create to monitor, demand or drive change on issues that affect them. It is a new, innovative, and non-traditional data source that can be used to guide informed decisions. Citizen-generated data can be a valuable data source for national statistical offices to pursue the Sustainable Development Goals set out by the 2030 Agenda.

This webinar, hosted by the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data and GIZ discusses how to produce better quality CGD and can be used to complement official statistics.
