Colombia launches its first Citizen Data Framework to strengthen official statistics
Colombia's National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE) launched the Marco de Datos Ciudadanos para Colombia, the country's first Citizen Data Framework. This roadmap guides the production, management, and use of citizen-generated data under clear quality, ethics, and participation standards. The launch is part of Datos en Acción, a key project within the Make Inclusive Data the Norm (MIDN) initiative, which is also supporting inclusive data systems in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and Senegal.
