Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all

Governments need good data on the levels of skills and education of their workforce. Without this data, job creation can be misplaced. Without accurate economic data like GDP, built on other key data-assets, governments cannot accurately predict future growth. A good job and a stable source of income gives someone dignity, hope, and a way to a better life. For too many people, especially young people, a decent job is not a reality. Young people are three times more likely to be unemployed than adults.
