With the rapid datafication of our world and the ever-growing need to access data for re-use in the public interest, there is an urgent need for responsible data leaders from the public and private sector empowered to seek new ways to create public value through cross-sector data collaboration. However, identifying these figures and bringing them together to share best practices can be difficult. This failure to connect expertise can lead to lost opportunities to improve the responsible handling and (re)use of data.
