In today’s digital world, AI offers so many opportunities to collect and analyze more data than even to drive progress for the SDGs. However, many have expressed concerns about the risk of AI entrenching existing biases and unfair data practices.
So this begs the question: how do we win on inclusive and ethical data in the AI era?
Utilizing the Data Values Manifesto, this session will center on a discussion on how we as the data community ‘win’ on ensuring data collection and use is ethical and inclusive. Join us to share your thoughts on the opportunities and risks that AI plays in achieving a fairer data future and how we can best mitigate them.
This session will be hosted by the Data Values Advocates, Yazid Mikhail and Benedetta Veneruso.
