The Asian Development Bank assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) works to reduce poverty and inequality, to improve health and education, and advance infrastructure through financial and technical support for countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Together for Girls is a partnership between national governments, UN agencies, and private sector organizations working to break cycles of violence, with special attention to sexual violence against girls.

Supporting countries in the collection, analysis and dissemination of census data for development is a critical part of UNFPA's mandate. UNFPA plays key roles in coordinating technical and financial assistance for censuses -- support can include resource mobilization, the provision of chief technical advisers, training in technical communication and advocacy, operating publicity campaigns, as well as developing census budgets, road maps, and instruments, such as questionnaires and manuals.

The overarching objective of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group is to spur sustainable economic development and social progress in its regional member countries (RMCs), thus contributing to poverty reduction.

The World Bank is a vital source of financial and technical assistance to countries around the world. We are not a bank in the ordinary sense but a unique partnership to reduce poverty and support development.
