Benetech empowers communities in need through scalable software solutions. As Silicon Valley’s original technology nonprofit, Benetech understands that vulnerable members of society—those most likely to be left behind—are also those most underrepresented in software-driven data collection and analysis efforts.
Benetech is committed to addressing this shortfall by working hand-in-hand with a global network of organizations to develop data collection standards and to foster data-collaboration communities around the global. To date, Benetech’s efforts have transformed how 500,000 people with disabilities read and made it safer for human rights defenders in over 50 countries to document human rights violations.
