So many interesting projects that use fiscal information to promote better governance are going on in the world. These practices come both from civil society and governments. If you or your organization have a good practice that helps end poverty with fiscal openness going on, we want to know about it!
We want to help these ideas grow and work as examples for other countries and initiatives. The practices should use fiscal information or take advantage of spaces for public participation to incentivize citizen action in the budget process from the side of civil society or by making information available or opening spaces for public participation in the budget process from the side of government.
What do you have to do? You just have to be a registered user of our Community of Practice and fill out the form before September 30th, 2015. The selected practices will be invited (expenses paid) to showcase their projects and experience in the Open Government Partnership Global Summit- Fiscal Openness Working Group, which will take place in Mexico City during October 29th and 30th, 2015.
